Gift of the «El Dorado» glass, decorated with cherry blossoms in pink, white and gold. The surface is etched to resemble crystal, with the gold applied in wafer-thin layers. Capacity 300 ml, height 9.2 cm, rim diameter 7.8 cm. Made in Japan. In a black box with gold embossing.

Wrapped by the Sato team in handmade gift paper with a Japanese pattern. We choose the paper from our selection; it may differ from the photo.

 
   
 

The name El Dorado is an allusion to Zipangu, the medieval European name for Japan, which according to the tales of Marco Polo was the island of gold. A special technique is used to etch the surface of the glass to resemble crystal. A gold transfer technique is then used to apply wafer-thin layers of gold to the surface of the glass. This technique gives the glass a classic elegance.
