The Japanese Art of Giving

In Japan, a gift is opened only after the giver has left. All the more important, then, is how it is wrapped and presented. The culture of wrapping is at its most beautiful in department stores and long-established shops, where staff wrap gifts with great care.

Sato’s gift sets follow this approach: selected accessories from Japan, combined by the Sato team and wrapped in handmade gift paper with Japanese patterns. All that is left is to hand them over. Slow Living also means taking time for what matters, and that includes the people close to us.

From its wide range of Japanese accessories, the Sato team has put together 9 sets, each of which forms a harmonious whole. Among them are combinations for writing and crafting, for the table and for the bathroom, as well as a glass with a cherry blossom motif. They are available in limited numbers at the Sato shop on Ausstellungsstrasse 39 in Zurich and on sato.ch.
